Ida Mae “Sarah” Brown, a native of Wilcox County and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, quietly left with the angels on Sunday, January 8, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lethel Brown, Sr. and a son, Amorise. She leaves to cherish her memory ten children, Larry, Sr., Arroyo, Lois, Terry, Lethel, Jr., Freddie, Lambert, Derrick, Mary and Joanne; two sisters; one brother; 20 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.

Her remains will lie at state 1-8pm Friday, January 13, 2017 at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile. A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at the St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church, 703 South Hobbs Ave, Prichard, AL. Interment will follow in the Pine Crest Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
