Carolyn Caldonia Sanders was born June 25, 1959 and departed this life for her eternal home on Thursday, November 23, 2017.

She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Ruby Lee Sanders and father, Lonnie B. Sanders; her spouse, Christopher L. Williams; two daughters: Myia and Lakisha Sanders; two granddaughters: Arabian Morgan and Sherrica Robinson; four sisters: Julia Jeanette White (Avery) of Detroit, MI, Patricia Caster (Letchas), Mary Ann Black (Eugene) and Tiffney Sanders; three brothers: Arthur Sanders (Sheree) of Detroit, MI, Robert (Vickie) Sanders, Jeffery (Angela Ruggs McDell) Sanders; sister-in-law, Jacquelyn Sanders; five nephews: Kenyatta Irby, Keenan Sanders (Mikel), Robert (Naima)Wells, Thaddeus Sanders, Letchas Caster; three nieces: Shondakeeia (Jarmario) Sanders Coley and Fredniki Sanders, and Jennifer Sanders; cousin: Juanita Rankins; four aunts: Virginia Sanders, Elizabeth Bright, Mattie Lynch, Irene Black Harris; friends: Tujuanna Myers Haynes, Oscar Sonny Dailey, and Brenda Kemp; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Her remains will lie in state on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 1-8pm at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 12pm until the 2pm funeral hour in Small’s Mortuary Chapel, 950 South Broad Street, Mobile, Alabama. Interment will follow in Whispering Pines Cemetery, Eight Mile, AL
