Dexter “Dex” Brye, a native of Bronx, NY and resident of Mobile, AL was born on January 29, 1967 and passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017. He loved football, music and video games.
He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Robert Earl and Lelia Johnson Brye of Mobile, AL; one brother, Larry (Amanda) Littles of Birmingham, AL; five uncles; two aunts; two nieces; seven great nieces and nephews; one god-sister, Vicki Johnson; one god-brother, Quinton Smith; two devoted friends, Charmaine Samoda and Patricia King; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

His remains will lie in state 2-8pm Friday, December 8, 2017 at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile. A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, 863 Summerville Street, Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in the Lawn Haven Cemetery, Theodore, AL.
