Samuel L. Brown, 57, was born on December 6, 1960 in Saint Louis, MO. He was called home to be with His Lord and Savior on Monday, January 1, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Sam served 20 years in the United States Army. He was a graduated of Athens State University and attended UTI in Houston. Samuel was preceded in death by his loving son, Samuel Louis Brown, III; his father, Samuel L. Brown, Sr; his grandparents, Marion and Doristine Trainer.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his loving and devoted wife: Sally Fantroy Brown; three daughters: LaDonna Brown, Ursula ( Antonio) Kitt, Sr, all of Mobile, AL, and Nicole Brown of Atlanta, GA; his loving mother: Harriet Jones of Milton, FL; a stepfather: James Jones of GA; four loving sisters: Gwendolyn Yates of Mobile, AL, Tammy (Andy) Hudges of Milton, FL, Janet (Malcolm) McCrery, Dionne (Willie) Holley all of Hover, AL; one brother: Samuel (Lisa) Brown; twelve grandchildren, one he raised as his own: LaDarrius Brown, Saway Tifton, Samya, Samuel, Sanaa, Michael Brown, Kayelyn Taylor, Annika, Antonio Jr. and Adonis Kitt, Kamia Gates of Atlanta, GA; two aunts: Debra Thomas amd Gwendolyn Miles; one uncle: Emil Brown all of Canton, MS; one sister-in-law: Donna Yates; four brothers-in-law: Lionel, Gregory, Leslie Fantroy, Michael (Linda) Fantroy all of Mobile, AL; sis nieces: Cynthia Sewell, Sara Jenkins of Mobile, AL, Demetra Jones, Demonica Robinson, Ayla and Ayliah McCrery all od Hoover, AL; seven nephews: James Sewell, Rashard Earl all of Mobile, AL, Lindsey Earl of Atlanta, GA, Devin McCrery, Darion Jones, Dallas and Daylin Holley aoo of Hoover, AL; a devoted friend and brother: Terri (Paula) Coleman of Dickson, TN, Wallace Hicks of Radcliff, KY, Dwayne Lowery, John (Karen) Greggs, Ernest Hunter and Annie Clark, Rev. and Sis. Sammie Brown, Sr., and his Jerusalem Temple Family of Canton, MS., along with his Corinthian Church family; a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church, 451 Weinacker Avenue, Mobile, Alabama. Interment will follow in the Alabama State Veterans Cemetery, Spanish Fort, Alabama.
