David  Abrams
David Abrams a native of Malcom, Alabama and a longtime resident of Theodore, Alabama. He was born May 15, 1942 to the late Alberta Lewis and Ellis Abrams, departed this life Tuesday, February 6, 2018 surrounded by loved ones.
David dedicated 37 years of service to GAF Builders as a checker loader and around the house he was a Mr. Fix- it and builder man.
David gave his life to Christ and united with First United Methodist Church, Theodore, Alabama where he was a faithful member until his illness.
David was known for his smooth dance moves and loving his wife and daughter. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He had a great love for bowling, fishing and telling jokes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alberta Lewis and Ellis Abrams, his siblings, Perry Abrams, Evelyn Williams and Hattie Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife, Lorraine Abrams, daughter Krishalon Abrams-Davis (Christopher) Davis, Sr., grandson, Christopher "CJ" Davis, Jr., god daughter, Courtney (Marcus) Abrams, and "like- a son" Fredrick Williams, Jr., siblings, Minnie McQueen, Theodore, Alabama, Cleveland Abrams, McIntosh, Alabama, Charleston Lewis, Chicago, Illnois, and sylvester Abrams, Theodore, Alabama a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends one devoted friend, Johnnie Nettles and a host of adopted children, neices and nephews.
His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary, Theodore, Thursday, February 15, 2018 after 5pm until 7pm and Friday, February 16, 2018 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, 5401 Washington Blvd. Theodore, Alabama Rev. Howard Nelson, Pastor. Interment will follow in the Lawn Haven Cemetery.
