Obituary for Rashada Shuntay Hannah
Known to her child as “Mom”, her siblings called her “Tay”. She loved her family and her strength was unwavering.
Rashada Shuntay Hannah was born on March 17, 1983 in Hinds County Mississippi. She was the second child born to Willie D. and Betty Dotson – Hannah.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Ruben (Rena Mae) Hannah; maternal grandparents: Norah (Maggie Sue) Dotson.
On Tuesday, April 3, 2018 “Tay” departed this life in Mobile, Alabama. She was 35 years old.
She leaves to cherish her memories a loving mother and father: Willie D. Hannah and Betty Dotson-Hannah; one son: Darien Hannah; one sister: Amisha LaShona Hannah; one brother: Willie D. Hannah, Jr.; one nephew: Rashad Hannah; four uncles; three aunts; a host of other relatives and friends.
The Homegoing Celebration will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 fat 11am in Small’s Mortuary Chapel, 950 South Broad Street, Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in Whispering Pines Cemetery, Eight Mile, Alabama.
