Pastor Cossie Wilson was born June 8, 1949 to Sis. Bessie Mae Wilson. He was a native of Lower Peachtree, AL. and exchanged life for his heavenly home on May 5, 2018.

Dr. Wilson moved to Los Angeles, CA but he later decided to move back home to Mobile, AL to help his family learn more about Jesus Christ.

He is preceded in death by his mother, father, three sisters and one son Glen Ford. He leaves to cherish his devoted wife: Sis. Bernice Wilson of 41 years; two sons: Willie Burton of New York, Tony (Patience) Link of Jacksonville, FL; two granddaughters: Alaeja & Olivia Link; one grandson: Juwon Bailey; one great grandson: Haiden Julius Wilson; three sisters: one devoted, Betty (Tommy) McCaskill, Los Angela, CA, Mary G.(Dr. Richard) Davis, Mobile, AL, Jewel (Charles) Strickland, Deer Park, New York; four brothers: one devoted, Rev. Louis (Peggy) Wilson, Huntington Station, New York, James (Earnestine) Campbell, Mobile, AL, Rev. Willie (Donnell) Wilson, Fulton, AL, Frank (Inez) Wilson, Saraland, AL; fourteen sisters in law: one devoted, Duella (Robert) Baines, Bennettsville, S.C., Nettie (John) Johnson, Dillon, S.C., Agnes Jones, Lakeview S.C., Mary (Nathan) Hamilton, Lakeview, S.C., Betty (Wallace) Woodberg, Mullins, S.C., Jean (James) Stewart, Dillon, S.C., Teresa Vanderball, Florence, S.C., Linda Townsend, Dillon, S.C., Lisa Townsend, Lakeview, S.C., Marion McIntyre, Glewen McIntyre, Tammy McIntyre all of Fort Worth, TX, April McIntyre, Houston, TX, Llewellyn (Melba) McIntyre , Fort Worth, TX; devoted friends: Pastor Steven Pickens; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

His remains will lie in state on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 1pm- 8pm at Small’s Mortuary, Theodore.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 10am until the 12pm funeral hour at Mt. Calvary MB Church, 505 North Price Avenue, Prichard, AL. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
