Obituary for Lyston Maurice Sigler

A Celebration of a good life.
On Tuesday, July 3, 2018 the Angel of God whispered:
You fought a good fight. You have won the battle my son, come now and rest.

Lyston Maurice Sigler was born February 11, 1954 to the proud parents of Lyston and Bernice Sigler Mobile, Alabama.

Lyston graduated from Vigor High School and joined the Army where he served for six (6) years as Audio Tec. After being honorable discharge from the Army he relocated back to Mobile, Alabama, where he started his truck driving career. Lyston move to Atlanta, GA to be near is family, later he relocated back to Mobile, Alabama after retiring as a truck driver.

Lyston was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Janice.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Constance Sigler; daughter: Cora Hill (Shanequa) Kennesaw, Ga; step- children; grandchildren; two brothers: Marvin (Cheryl) Sigler, Broderick (Judy) Sigler both from Mobile, AL; three sisters: Diane Hill of Whistler, AL , Debra Sigler of San Diego, CA, and Sharon Sigler of Atlanta, GA; mother-in-law: Dorene Harrison; brothers and sisters in-law; special devoted niece: Earica (Channing) Key; devoted cousin/friends: Charlie Stabler, Evelyn Hill, Kenneth Blackwell and Regina Hawthrone; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour in Small’s Mortuary Chapel, 950 South Broad Street, Mobile, AL.

Interment will follow in Alabama State Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Spanish Fort, Alabama.
