Life Legacy

Edward Genrlette Orr-- 64 a native Mobile and resident of Prichard born March 17, 1944 to the late Gayetta Orr Johnson and Genrlette Orr. He was later adopted by the late Rufus Johnson Jr. He was preced in death by his grandparents, Annie and Elijah Coleman, aunt, Frankie Briggs and uncle, Melvin Jackson Sr. He was a devoted member of Ebenezer A.M.E Zion Church. He leaves to cherish his memories his special daughters, Stanielle Briggs and Deidra Smith, sister, Rufustine (George) Isaac, two devoted cousins, Deborah Lang and Ceceila Roberts, devoted friends, Mary Wilson and Rev. Clarence Cooke Sr., and a host of cousins and friends. His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuaru Friday, February 27, 2009 from 1-6pm and Saturday, February 28, 2009 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour Ebenezer A.M.E Zion Church, Rev. Donald Harris Sr. officiating Minister 268 St. Charles Ave. Interment will follow in the Catholic Cemetery. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Small's Mortuary, 950 S. Broad St., Mobile, AL.
