Joyce Horn, a native of Monroeville, Alabama, and a resident of Chickasaw, Alabama, born August 16, 1952, departed this life on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at her residence. She was a member of El Bethel Primitive Baptist Church and a retired Employee of Micro Fab. She is survived by her husband, Levi Horne; 3 daughters, Rasa, Frances and Chanita; 3 sons, Sherman (Lashavia) Lee, Norman and Greg; 2 brothers, Thomas and Jackie; 5 sisters, Floretta, Jewel, Arnetta, Julia (Larry) Clark , and Patricia (Gregory) Blocker; 2 granddaughters; 5 grandsons; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Her remains will lie in state Friday, September 30, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile , AL . Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2011 after 9:00 a.m. and the family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until the 12:00 noon funeral hour at El Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, 1200 Gayle Street , Mobile , AL . The interment will follow in Gethsemane North Cemetery , Eight Mile, AL .
