Biography

Albert Oshea Odom, Jr., was born on November 20, 1962, to the union of Albert Oshea Odom Sr., and Ora Dee Odom. He made his transition into eternal life on Monday, October 17, 2011 at USA Medical Center, Mobile, AL. He was a 1981 graduate of MGM High School where he played football and basketball. Oshea worked at Odom’s Construction with his father, Northrop Grumman, and with the Local 112 Boiler Makers. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ora Dee Odom; grandparents, Clarence (Willie Mae) Odom and Patterson (Corine) Woullard; uncles, Patterson Woullard, Zattis Woullard and Clarence Odom, Jr. He met and married Anita Anderson-Odom and to this union one child was born. He is survived by his loving and devoted companion, Pamela Jefferson, Mobile, AL; three children, Khristie O. Miller, Goodman, MS, Octavia Danielle Carter, Lucedale, MS and O’Shea M. Odom, Mobile, AL; four stepchildren, Kenneth Bedgood, Lindriell Jefferson, Harrison Jefferson and Harold Jefferson, all of Mobile, AL; father, Albert (Cloteal) Odom, Sr., Mobile, AL; two loving brothers, Franz Odom, St. Petersburg, FL and Antonio (Wanda) Woullard, Gautier, MS; sisters, Sheila (Andre) Hinton, Colorado Springs, CO, Priscilla (Larry) Matthews, Wilmer, AL and Tabatha Odom, Mobile, AL; 14 grandchildren; 9 aunts; 16 nieces; 9 nephews; 1 sister-in-law; 1 brother-in-law; and a host of other relatives and friends. His remains will lie in state Friday, October 21, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile, AL. Visitation will be held Saturday October 22, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour at Wilmer First Baptist Church of Wilmer, Wilmer, AL.
