Biography

Mrs. Ann Marie Adams, a lifelong native of Mobile, AL departed this life on December 2, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Adams and her parents, Russell and Freddie McCants. She is survived by her children, Frederick Howard, Houston, TX, Larry (Sharna) Adams, Springville, AL, Brenda McCants, Claudette Kimble, Thelma Jean (Michael) James, Melanie Howard, Sharon (Rickey) Pleasant, Lesia (Roderick) Campbell, all of Mobile, AL, Michelle (Roderick) Stallworth and Vertis (Harold) Dixon of Atlanta, GA; adoptive son Arenteanis (Shelneka) Adams of Korea; sisters, Linda (Charles) Massey, Houston, TX and Tiffany Ariegus, Fort Lauderdale, FL; 30 grandchildren, 2 devoted, Preston and Fernado Howard of Mobile, AL; 44 great-grandchildren; aunts, Lucy Black and Adrianne Adams, Mobile, AL; 2 nieces; 1 nephew; 4 step-children; 9 sisters-in-law; 5 brothers-in-law; a host of other relatives and many friends. Her remains will lie in state Friday, December 9, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile, AL. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour at Lily Baptist Church, 358 Kennedy Street with Rev. Donnie Powell officiating.
