Life Legacy
Mother Willie B. Howard born February 15, 1925 in Butler AL and a longtime resident of Mobile exchanged this life for her heavenly wings July 28, 2012. An academically gifted student, she graduated from Mobile County Training School and The Nashville School of Business. She retired from the Federal government more than 20 years ago after 30 plus years of service at Brookley Air Force Base and Pensacola Naval Air Station. She leaves to cherish her loving memory two devoted sons Robert E. Howard, Jr. and Gregory (Wendy) Howard, both of Mobile, six devoted daughters Dr. Brenda E. Howard, Monica O. Howard, Felicia A. (Mark) Conley all of Bowie, MD, Veronica (Bryant)Turner of Daphne, Al, Bridget (William, II) Fayetteville, GA., Finise Howard Burnett, Mobile, Al.; three brothers ;one sister-in-law; one cousin-in-law; 23 grandchildren, 38 great- grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Her remains will lie in state at Small’s Mortuary on Friday, August 3, 2012 from 1pm-8pm. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2012 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Mason Memorial Temple COGIC, 2157 Government St, Mobile, AL.
