David Bass, Jr. a native of Mobile, AL and a resident of Boston, Ma passed on September 17, 2012. He was preceded in death by his mother, Amanda Smith. His memory will be cherished by Mary Bass, wife; daughter, Angela Davis; son, David Bass III; Antoine(Tony)Bass, adopted son; father, David(Novella)Bass; sister, Patricia(Maynard)Portis; nephew, Darrell Portis; aunt Bertha Crumbley; aunt/Godmother, Gertrude Johnson; sister-n-law, Elizabeth Brazelton; three stepsons, Walter, James and Aundra Dennis; many cousins, other realitives and friends; devoted friend, Morris Hudson. His remains will lie in state Friday September 21, 2012 from 1pm until 8pm at Small's Mortuary Chapel.Visitation will be held Saturday September 22, 2012 from 3:00pm until the 3:30pm funeral hour at Small's Mortuary Chapel, Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
