Alexander Radcliff, Jr.

Affectionately known as “Junior”

Alexander Radcliff, Jr. was born September 4, 1943 to the parentage of the late Alexander and Annie G. Radcliff, Sr. of Calvert, Alabama. He departed this life on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at a local hospital.

Alexander was a graduate of Rosa A. Lott High School, Citronelle, AL. He was a retired Veteran of the United States Army. He was employed at Huntsman (Celba Geigy) Chemical Plant, McIntosh, AL until his retirement. Alexander accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was a faithful and dedicated member of the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, Calvert, AL where he served as a Trustee, and a member of the choir. He was also a member of St. Union Male Chorus of McIntosh, AL.

He was a beloved father, brother, husband son and grandfather. Along his life ’s journey, he learned many trades like wood working and masonry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander, Sr. and Annie Radcliff; brothers: George Radcliff and Bobby Radcliff, Sr.; and sister, Edna Radcliff Brown.

Alexander leaves to cherish his memories, his former devoted wife and mother of his children, Annie Mae Radcliff; daughter, Keisha Radcliff; son, Sean (Denise) Radcliff; two devoted grandsons: Marquez and Montrez Radcliff of Mt. Vernon, AL; brother, Carpis (Margaret) Radcliff of Denton, TX; three sisters: Mary Jane Mills and Lucinda (Willie) Dees both of Mt. Vernon, AL and Levetta (Marline) Johnson of Mobile, AL; two aunts: Thelma (Henderson) Lane of Trinity Gardens, AL and Teresa Radcliff of Clarksville, TN; three sisters-in-law: Cecelia (Cleon) Brown of McIntosh, AL, Carolyn Peyton of Mobile, AL and Dorothy Radcliff of Warner Robins, GA; four brothers-in-law: Lewis Reed of Detroit, MI, Eddie
