Alma Ree Hampton Vickers, a loving, caring, devoted mother, grandmother and sister, native of Choctaw County, resident of Wilmer, AL, born January 9, 1943.
She passed away in the comfort of her home on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, surrounded by her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew James and Hattie Mae Hampton; four sisters: Anna Pickens, Mae Andrew Jackson, Annie Brinkley and Lillie Barney; and two brothers: Willie Hampton and Percy Hampton.
Alma leaves to cherish her memory, a devoted husband, James Vickers; three devoted children; one daughter, Jennifer Evans and two sons: Renthal Coleman and Arion Coleman of Mobile, AL; five devoted grandchildren: Kevin (Wendy) Evans, Brittiney Evans, Karlicia Allen, Carlos Nettles and King Gunnerson-Evans; four great-grandchildren: Jamyra Holt, Laila Evans, Logan Evans and Giselle Tolbert; one sister, Mae Ola Cunningham; one brother, Henry James Hampton; a host nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, neighbors and friends.
