Obituary for Annette Denise Williams

Annette Denise Williams, Age 61, was called to her heavenly home on Sunday Morning,
November 13, 2022. Annette was born on Saturday, September 30; 1961to loving parents
Katherine Yvonne Williams and Willie Williams, Jr., in Mobile, Alabama.
Annette spent her entire lifetime in Mobile, Alabama, where she attended Toulminville High
School. Annette Denise Williams and James Arnold Robinson were blessed with three loving
children, Monique, Roderick, and Clayton (C.J.) Williams. She always greeted her family and
friends with a beautiful smile and tasteful food from her modern kitchen. Annette loved to cook
all kinds of southern dishes. Annette had the heart of a missionary. She would give you her last
dime if you needed it.

Annette accepted Christ at an early age and attended Sunday School, Morning Worship Service,
and Baptist Training Union at Mt. Olive Baptist Church #2 in Mobile with her Mother and
Siblings for many years; later attending St. James Missionary Baptist Church where she enjoyed
listening to the sermons and gospel music. Although Annette did not sing in the choir, she
constantly sang at home accompanied by songs on the radio. Her favorite gospel songs during
her brief illness were “I’m Free” recorded by Rev. Milton Brunson and The Thompson
Community Singers and “There’s a Leak in This Old Building,” recorded by Shaun Pace.
Annette’s Mother and siblings (Sandra and Samuel) all sang well. Gospel Music was their
favorite. Her beautiful daughter Monique sings well also. Surely, God’s Angelic Choir made
room for Annette to join them when she put on her robe in glory.

Annette was preceded in death by her loving parents, Katherine Y. Williams Henry, Willie
Williams, Jr., Lee Henry (loving step-father), James Arnold Robinson (loving spouse); and her
sibling, Samuel Arthur Williams (Sonnie); and devoted cousin, Ellen Thornton.
She leaves behind to cherish her loving memories: her devoted children, Monique Dionne
Williams, Roderick Gerald Williams, and Clayton Jason Williams (C.J.); her siblings, Dr. Sandra
Williams Leconte, IL, Kenneth Gerald Williams (Glovis), TX, and Clayton Oliver Henry
(Yvette), IL; her nieces, Nicole Claudine Leconte and Katrice Williams; great niece, CeCe
Williams; her nephews; Kenneth G. Williams (Sakoto), Emanuel Williams, Keith Williams, and
Austen Lee Henry; her devoted cousins, Rosalee Dortch, Darrell Dortch (Anita), Catherine Ellis,
and William Edwards; her godchildren Symphony Allen and Phoenix Thomas; loyal friends,
