Antonio Demetrius Lang, Jr. was born October 5, 1998 to his

parents, Tomeka James and Antonio Lang, Sr. Antonio was twenty-
three years old when he left behind no children, but great memories. He

was big on love and coming together as a family with unity. His motto
was Peace, Prayer and Perseverance “Power of the Ps”. Antonio was a
resident of Mobile, Alabama where as his grandmother, Barbara
(Charles) Darby and aunt, Felicia James played a role in raising him.
Antonio attended Williamson High School. He joined the football team.
Antonio affectionately known as “Phat Phat” also played football for
multiple parks alongside his cousin, Roger McCreary where he got the
name “Spaceman.” They often placed against their cousin Dwan James,
Jr.
On July 31, 2022 the Lord dispatched an Angel and called him home.
Antonio Lang, Jr. was a member of Andrew Church of Christ where he
became a member at an early age.
Antonio was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Mattie James;
and cousin, Sylvester James, III.
Antonio leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted mother,
Tomeka James; father, Antonion Lang, Sr.; two brothers: Devontae
James and Javorous Polk; two sisters: Aleasha Lang and Andrea Lang;
two nieces: Za-Riah Hill and Journie Goff; two nephews: Jadarian
Wright and Nicholas Coleman, Jr.; grandmothers: Barbara (Charles)
Darby and Gail Johnson; great-grandfather, Sylvester James; five aunts:
devoted, Felicia James, April James, India James, Antwanette Lang and
Chelsea Darby; five uncles: Lamike James, LaMar James, Jeffery James,
Algerome Lang, Chaz Darby, devoted, Vincent James, Sylvester James,
Michael James and Robert James both of CA; great-aunt, Patricia James;
cousins: Demetrius James, Dwan (Charlotte) James, Cristal (Jermaine)
Locke, Armani French, Shamia Penn, Sharmichael James, Kalesha
Abney; devoted cousins: Roger McCreary, Marcus Penn, DeMarcus
James and Dwan James, Jr.; a host of cousins, other relatives and
friends; a devoted mentor, Brother Freddie Peterson.
