Obituary for Arlene Sue Morrison (Wilkins)
Arlene Sue Wilkins-Morrison, age 83, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2019, in Gulf Shores, Alabama. She was born July 22, 1936 to the late Earl and Harriet Wilkins in Marinette, Wisconsin.
Arlene married her high school sweetheart, Glenn Morrison on December 22, 1957.
Loved ones she left behind are, her husband Glenn, daughters Sydney Mabie and Lesley Morrison, 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Arlene was an Interior Designer and owned Morrison Design Studio for many years in Minocqua, WI.
She was an involved member of Community Presbyterian Church and was a member of the original steering community for Seasons of Life Hospice and volunteered there for many years.
Arlene loved many things, she loved her family, entertaining and her beloved pets most of all. She barely remembered our names at times and often called us one of the following pet’s names: Willy, Henric, Freida, Elsa, Victoria, Cassie, Berta, Billy Bob, Callie, Maude, Caesar the Cockatiel, Percifull P. Skunk, Hiram (the beta fish who lived in a Hiram Walker Whiskey bottle.Who knew!) or whatever your name is.
A memorial service will be held at the Community Presbyterian Church, 643 Old Abe Rd, Lac du Flambeau, WI on November 6, 2019 at 1:00 pm. The family requests that in lieu of flowers please make donations to Seasons of Life Hospice in Woodruff, WI.
