Obituary for Arnelya Bone

Mrs. Arnelya Malinda Chaney Bone, daughter of Reverend Richmond and Clydine Chaney was born September 17, 1968 in Chatom, AL. She was raised in Millry, AL where she was a graduate of Millry High School. At an early age, she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and joined Knights Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She continued her dedication to Christ at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, Mobile, AL, where she served faithfully as the musician for Mt. Sinai’s “Twenty-Men” Chorus, member of the Missionary Ministry, President of the Nurse’s Aide, Youth Sunday School teacher and served in various capacities throughout Mt. Sinai. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Gregory Bone on December 25, 1993. She was blessed with two daughters, JaLeesa Sophelia Gibbs and Jaleesa Devon Bone Wideman. Mrs. Arnelya Bone served in the United States Air Force Reserves for 10 years as a Tech Sargent. She was a graduate of Bishop State College in which she received an Associates Degree in Nursing. Her professional dedication includes her work as a GI Nurse for Dr. Raymond Bell and a PACU Nurse for Mobile Infirmary Health System. Because of her generous spirit and pleasant personality, many loved her. Her Christian life was as beautiful as the flowers that she loved so well, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. She quietly departed this life Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Mo- bile Infirmary Hospital in Mobile, Alabama. Her beloved sister, Tonya Chaney, Maternal Grandmother, Malinda Ruth Taylor, Paternal Grandmother, Arnetta Chaney and her Aunt, Marie T. Greene, preceded her in death. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her devoted husband, Dr. Gregory Bone; her daughters, Jaleesa Gibbs of Mobile, AL and Jalessa Bone (Brandon) Widemen of Greenwood, S.C.; father and mother, Reverend Richmond and Clydine Chaney; two grandsons, Ellis Rashad Wideman and Issac Devon Wideman both of Greenwood, S.C.;. one brother, Regmond (Charlotte) Chaney, four nieces and nephews, Jasmine, Tonya, Lydia, Rylon, and Melyn Chaney, and a host of devoted aunts, uncles family and friends. Arnelya’s remains will lie in state on Sunday, December 22, 2019 from 1pm-5pm at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 23, 2019 from 9am until the 11am “Celebration Of Life” service at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, 860 South Warren Street, Mobile, AL 36603.
