Rev. Dr. Aubrie Hill, 81, Pastor of Mt Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday morning, January 14, 2019 after a short illness. He was preceded in death by his son, Carey Hill and daughter Melissa Lynn Whitley. Surviving Rev Dr Hill are his wife, Willie Mae Hill; daughters: Vickey Hill, Cynthia (Fred) Watson, and Jennifer Hill; sons: Aubrey Dewayne Hill, Larry (Rita) Hill, and Glen (Donna) Hill; Son-in-Law, Natalino Whitley; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held at Small Mortuary, 950 South Broad Street, 1pm - 3pm on Friday, January 18th. A visitation is set for Friday, January 18th from 4pm - 8pm at Mt Gilead Missionary Baptist Church. The funeral will be held Saturday, January 19th, at 11am (viewing 1 hour prior) at Friendship Primitive Baptist Church, 819 Saint Stephens Rd.
