Obituary for Audrey Moorer
Brother Audrey Moorer, affectionally known as : "Pap, "Moose," or "Buddy," was born on January 14, 1936 in Bay Minette, Alabama to the late Jessie and Jimmie Lou Moorer.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Bogan. He was a faithful member of Union Baptist Church, especially Sunday School, where he regularly attended with his grandchildren, Jason and Hannah. Audrey attend Douglasville High School and later honorably served in the US Army. After his discharge, he was employed by International Paper Company until he retired in the late nineties. Audrey loved his family. He enjoyed fishing, football and "tinkering," around the house.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife, Allean Flowers Moorer; Two (2) children: Peggy (Adrian)
Major and Phyllis Moorer; Two (2) grandchildren: Jason and Hannah Davis; Two (2) brothers: James (Kay) Moorer and Milton (Chrys) Moorer both of New York; Two (2) sisters: Sadie McReynolds and Bessie (Eugene) Thompson both of Bay Minette; Many nephews and nieces; and a host of other dear relatives and friends.
