Obituary

Mrs Augusta Emily Kilpatrick Dexter, a long time resident of Mobile, Alabama was called home to be with the lord on Sunday morning October 27, 2019. She passed away peacefully in her home with family in attendance. Mrs Dexter was born August 23, 1920 in Camden Alabama, spent much of her childhood in Selma, followed by a brief period as a young adult in Cleveland, Ohio before moving to Mobile. She was a member of The Greater Morning Star Baptist Church for many years and later moved to the Loyd's Station Community where she was a faithful member of Morning Star Missionary Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands (Sidney Kilpatrick and Burlee Dexter), four children Alonzo Kilpatrick, Stephen Kilpatrick, Diane Ruffin, and Laura Ruffin, and siblings.
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons: Sidney (Barbara) Kilpatrick, and Conrad (Kathy) Kilpatrick, four daughters: Evelyn Harper, Mary Ann Bowling, Dorthy (Willie) Baker, Lee Dubose, Ruth Mosley and a host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Great Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends,
Homegoing Celebration: Morning Star Missionary Church (Loyd's Station) November 8, 2019 Viewing: 9AM - 11AM Service: 11AM
In lieu of flowers, the Family requests that expressions of sympathy be made by a donation to your local Alzheimers' Foundation.
