Barbara Harris McBride, born February 4, 1955, departed this life on May 16, 2013 at a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her father, J. Williams, her grandparents, Leslie and Bertha Harris, two aunts, Lorretta Hector and Lola Harris, one uncle, Cleveland Harris and stepfather, Robert Glasper. She leaves to cherish her memories, her devoted husband, Ronnie McBride; a loving mother, Louise Harris Glasper; eight children; 11 grandchildren, 7 sisters and brothers; a host of nieces and nephews. Her remains will lie in state at on Friday, May 24, 2013 from 1pm until 8pm at Small?s Mortuary, Mobile, AL. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2013 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Greater Pine Grove AME Church, 800 S Dr. Thomas Ave. Prichard, AL.
