Bertha Quaites- McCovery born May 9,1960 to the union of Anderson Quaites, II and Grace Helen Quaites. She departed this life on January 6, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her parents Anderson Quaites II and Grace Helen Quaites: her brothers, James Quaites, Reginald Quaites and John Quaites, Sr.
She was a faithful member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, where she was baptized as a child under the leadership of Rev. N. J. Mathews. She served faithfully as a choir member and current President of the Usher Board until her passing.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving and devoted husband Ronnie Allen McCovery Sr.; her children who loved her dearly, LaToya (Delwin) Ruffins, LaTonya (Cory) Edwards, Ronnie Allen McCovery, Jr., all of Point Clear, Alabama; Cody, Kendall, TaKiera, Kensli, Kyzen (The House Boss)l; her siblings, Anderson (Vera) Quaites, Emily (Lonzie) Bettis, Leslie (Linda) Quaites, Kathe Quaites, Goddaughters, Crystal Webb, Farrah King; one aunt Carrie Lee Jones; uncles Joseph Jones, Jr., John Leath; sisters in law Leslie Valrie' a host of cousins, one devoted Lavaughn (Clarence) Lee, other relatives and friends, devoted Gilbert (Charlene) Allen, Bernadette Ransom, Grenda (Eric) Johnson, Alice (MacAuthur) Baldwin, Darnell Ellis, Josephine (Booker) Gaines, Fern Knight, Deborah (Percy) Jackson, Annette H. Darnell.
