Obituary for Billy Wayne Johnson

Billy Wayne Johnson, beloved father and Pappa Daddy passed peacefully at 10:30am on Thursday, January 14, 2021 after complications from a fall. He passed peacefully with his daughter Maytris & Lee by his bedside.
Billy was born September 1, 1947 in Mississippi. He grew up in State Line, Mississippi. He graduated from North Central High in Washington County, Alabama, before making his home in Ohio and District of Columbia. He was a member of the Masonic Organization.
Billy proudly served as a dedicated Local UAW 1250 retiree from Ford Motor Company after thirty-seven years.
Billy was born to Lois Johnson and Willett Willard who precedes him in death; also precedes him in death four brothers: Braxton “Monk” Johnson, Ralph Johnson, Michael Willard and Brian Davis; one brother-in law, Bernard “Bruno” Williams; and one sister, Kim Davis.
Billy leaves behind a loving family to cherish his precious memories, his children: two devoted daughters: caregiver, Demateress Richards (Lee Ellis) of District of Columbia and Technical Sargent Marlana (Frank) Gonzales United States Air force of Ohio; two sons: Donald Johnson and Roderick Johnson of Ohio; eight grandchildren: Donald Jr., Jasmine (Cootie), Darryl (Noot), Brian, Seniyah (Na’Na’), Amani, Amir and Asher; one great-granddaughter, Aubree Lynn (Nippy); beloved stepmother, Arlene Willard of Arizona; five sisters: Eunice Williams of Alabama, Deborah (Reginal) Thompson of Virginia, Theresa Lacey of Mississippi, Lori Willard and Bibi (John) Rogers of Ohio; four brothers: Marvin Jonson of Arizona, Carl Johnson of North Carolina, Victor (Melisa) Johnson of Texas and Johnathan (Skeeter)(Wendy) Willard of Arizona; one sister-in-law, Ruby Johnson of Mississippi; ex-sister- in-law, Theresa Gibson of Alabama; two ex-brother-in-laws: Joe (Louise) Towner, Jr. of California and Robert (Rosie) Turner, Sr. of Alabama; The Loves of his life, childhood sweetheart, Carol (Sweet) Johnson of Ohio, Joan Gray of Ohio, Sharon Riley of Ohio and Margetta Hill of Florida; Extended family: First Sergent Stacy Gilon Petway United States Marine Corp of North Carolina, Kim Hudson and Tanisha Riley of Ohio; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
