Brother Billy Earl King was born April 8, 1959 in Camden, Alabama to James Floyd King and the late Daisy Lee King. In 1965 he moved from Sweetwater, AL to Kalamazoo, MI where he would become a member of the Faith Temple Church of God at an early age.

Following graduating from High School in Kalamazoo, Mr. King pursued and achieved several degrees in General Studies, Business Administration, Industrial Management, and Accounting Technology. During his time in college he was also a proud member of the fraternities Kappa Alpha Phi and Alpha Kappi Psi.

Mr. King enlisted in the United States Army and served as a Noncommissioned Officer from 1979 to 1990, completing deployments in Panama, Grenada, and Kuwait. He was honorably discharged from military service where later he was employed at General Electric as an Industrial Management Supervisor before retiring.

He was proceeded in passing by; two loving brothers: Sylvester Bouler, and John Griffin;eight loving Aunts: Juanta Robison Shaw, Girtha Johnson McMillian, Coune Austin, Lizzie Mae Lockett, Bessie Hughes, Clara Mae Spencer, Jasie Pruitt, Ida Rae Carter, and one loving Uncle, George E. Robinson.

Leaving to cherish his memories, a devoted and loving wife, Shelia King; two loving sons: Romero and Orlando King; one loving daughter-in-law: Natasha King; two grandchildren: Malika and Katana King; a loving father, James Floyd King; Two loving brothers: James Jerome King, Clemment King; one loving sister,Sherry McDonald; three loving nieces: Jasimine Jett, Destiny Jett, and Precious King;Three loving nephews: James King, Jermaine King, and Tony Bouler and a loving aunt and uncle Frank and Mary Taylor.
