Obituary for Braelyn Emily Davis

Braelyn Emily Davis was a resident of Grand Bay, AL passed away at the tender age of 6 years old surrounded by her loving family on March 31, 2021, at University Hospital, Mobile, AL. She was born in Fairhope, AL on April 28, 2014. She was a first-grader at Cora Castlen Elementary School, Grand Bay, AL. Braelyn was a member of Pathway Church, Mobile, AL.
Braelyn was a very delightful child, she brought so much joy and happiness to everyone that knew her, especially her family. Braelyn’s big brother Micah was her world, and their bond was unbreakable. She enjoyed playing and pulling pranks with her big brother, they did everything together, he was her protector and best friend. She had a great sense of humor and was smart as a whip. Braelyn was a member of the “Thunder Bolts” cheerleading squad at Cheer Force One All Star Cheerleading Program in Mobile, AL. She loved being a cheerleader and going to competitions with her squad. She was a little fashionista and loved dressing up for any event, wearing makeup, and going to the nail salon. She also loved dancing, cooking, shopping, playing outside, and being on her iPad and phone. Braelyn was so savvy and funny; her beautiful smile melted many hearts.

Braelyn was preceded in death by her grandfather Cecil James Moore and her great grandmother Annie Ruth Winston. Braelyn and her great-grandmother joined hands and entered heaven together.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving parents Cecil and Brittney Davis of Grand Bay, AL; one brother Micah Alexander Xavier Davis of Grand Bay, AL; one god sister Alaiyah Bishop of Bay Minette, AL; two grandmothers Jefferson Marie Moore of Grand Bay, AL, and Felisha (Michael) Anderson of Bay Minette, AL; one grandfather Michael (Ivory) Morgan of Lilburn, GA; one uncle Michael Anthony (Erin) Pugh Jr. of Daphne, AL; three aunts Yuntalaa Ladonna Davis, Stephanie Moore and Crystal Lanee Winston all of Grand Bay, AL; and two cousins Aria Rose Pugh and AnnaBelle Rebecca Pugh both of Daphne, AL; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held at the Lighthouse Apostolic Church, 9901 Tom Waller Rd., Grand Bay, Al 36541 at 11:00 a.m. on April 10, 2021. The visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Pastor Earl L. Harris, Officiating. Interment will follow at the Pine Hill Cemetery, Grand Bay, AL. Services are entrusted to Smalls Mortuary, 950 Broad St., Mobile, AL, 36603.
