Obituary for Brian Tremayne Bradley

Brian Tremayne Bradley, a life-long resident of Mobile, born October 9,1971 to
Cynthia M. Bradley and Reginald A. Brown, died Monday, March 18, 2024. Brian
attended St Thomas the Apostle Catholic School and graduated from Murphy High School
in 1990. Upon graduation he enlisted in the United States Army.

Brian’s stint in the Army lasted five years during which he was awarded to, name a few,
the: Army Achievement Medal (2nd Award), Army Superior Unit Award, Army Good
Conduct Medal, National Defense Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, Sharpshooter
Marksman Badge, and Marksman Marksmanship Bars. He was stationed in Korea and Fort
Huachuca, Arizona.

Brian worked at SSAB, formerly IPSCO Steel, for twenty-four years. He enjoyed travel,
visiting many places, but was especially fond of Hawaii. He also dappled in the financial
world (stocks and bonds, etc.). Brian was a quiet, gentle presence among his family and
friends: but also, a strong, reliable one.

Brian was predeceased by his father, Reginald; maternal grandparents: Jonathan
Bradley, Sr., and Henrietta H. Bradley; paternal grandmother: Mary Brown. He is survived
by his mother, Cynthia; sister, LaTonia Y. Gundrum; nephew, Cameron Gundrum; niece,
Mariah Hall; beloved as children: Giavanna M. Akins, Robert Akins, and Laura
(Jermaine)Woon; grandson, Elisha Woon; aunts: Joanne B. Siggers and Aundrey Bell;
uncles: Jonathan (Sharon) Bradley, Jr., Harlan G. Bradley, Travis Bradley, and one
endeared, Perry R. (Angela) Bradley, Sr.; great-uncle, Glenn M. (Michelle) Harbin; great-
great aunt, Dorene Harrison. He will be dearly missed by his numerous cousins and
cohorts growing up, especially, Angie Bradley and Vernon Davis; childhood friends:
Thomas Whittaker and Cary Hunter; his special friend and ‘work-wife,’ Marilyn Walker;
friends: Cedrick McMillan, Tina Ferris, Brett White and Shipping Crew ‘A.’ He will also be
missed by many other relatives and friends.

After interment we invite you to join us at Little Flower Parish in the Bringer Center, 416
Little Flower Ave., Mobile, AL, 36606 to continue our celebration of Brian’s life.
