Obituary for Caffey Re'na Olds

Caffey Re’Na Olds, a native of Hartford, Connecticut and a resident of McDonough, GA departed her earthly life on November 7, 2020. She was born April 1, 1970 to the union of her parents Charlie and Lolia Olds. Caffey worked as a CNA for many years. She was a graduate of Citronelle High School Class of 1989. She attended church at New Covenant Baptist Church, Jonesboro, GA. She was a beacon of light to everyone she met. She was a “people person” as she had over 3,000 Facebook friends. She loved taking pictures, playing various software games (Coin Master, Candy Crush, etc) on her phone, dancing to reggae music, listening to old blues every Saturday morning, and sending shout outs to everyone celebrating their birthday, wedding, anniversary on 104.1 WDLT radio station or social media. She enjoyed her life spending time with her family, laughing, cooking, and talking on the phone to her many friends.

She leaves to cherish a lifetime of memories with her devoted son, Cortez (Kim) Olds of Pritchard, AL; devoted mother Lolia Olds; one sister Cendric Olds; two brothers Chris (Jodeco) Olds and LyRickney Hicks all from McDonough, GA; one devoted uncle Freddie Kirksey of Mount Vernon, AL; five grandchildren Kierra Monique Reed of Birmingham, AL, Jamarcus Latonio Horne, Cameron Latonio Horne, Asia Darnae and Alasia Re’na Olds all from Pritchard, AL; five nephews Chris Olds, Jr. of Hartford CT; Eddie Olds of Smyrna, GA; Jakobe Majors of Atlanta GA; JaKhai Olds of Hartford, CT, JaMahri Harvey of Hartford, CT three nieces Centauria Olds of Birmingham AL; DeAundra Johnson of Birmingham, AL; Cendrena Olds, of McDonough, GA; Cavaughn Olds of Wilmington, NC; one devoted great-nephew May’E Eli Loner of McDonough, GA; special neighbors Renee Barrett and Jordan Edwards of McDonough, GA; and a host of devoted cousins and friends.
