Obituary for Cameron Jairus Williams

Our beloved son, Cameron “Cam” Jairus Williams, was born November 20, 2002, in Fairhope, Alabama to Andrea & Ramon Williams. Cameron transitioned from this life on April 30, 2023, into a peaceful sleep, until the return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Cam was an amazing son and brother with an artistic heart. He expressed himself through music, dance, and being silly with his friends and family. Cameron had an unwavering love for music. Some of his favorites were Michael Jackson and Etta James. He was a sweet spirit with an old soul. He graduated from Daphne High School in 2022. He was a proud member of Daphne High School “Sound of the Eastern Shore” Band where he played the baritone (euphonium). His absolute favorite thing to do in the whole world was to sleep. When he was not sleeping, he would spend time at the studio creating music, on social media making TikTok’s, dancing with his siblings and laughing for absolutely no apparent reason. Cameron had a contagious smile and a heart full of love. A smile gone, but never forgotten.

Cameron was preceded in death by his grandmother, Eva Arrick Shuttlesworth, one great-grandmother Elissie Mae Bradley, and three great-grandfathers: Joe Lee Williams, Edward Lee Bradley, and Leonard Richardson.

He leaves to cherish his devoted parents, Andrea and Ramon Williams; brothers: Christian, Cayden, and Bradley Williams; sister: Mariah Williams; best pal, his dog, Layla Williams, all of Daphne, AL; grandparents: Regina and Anthony Williams, Daphne, AL; Albert Shuttlesworth (Gail LeFleur), Dothan, AL; three great-grandmothers: Ellen Williams, Daphne, AL, Mae West Hill, West Blocton, AL, Betty Boyd, Birmingham, AL; two Aunts: Nyeshia Strickland, Tuscaloosa, AL, & Angela Shuttlesworth, Montevallo, AL; four Uncles: Darrius Williams and Asaiah Shuttlesworth both of Daphne, AL, Al (Rebecca) Shuttlesworth and Alex (Twila) Shuttlesworth, both of Mobile, AL; a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, family, and friends.
