Bro. Carlos Duan Yelding, a native of Daphne Alabama was born on September
2nd, 1969 and departed this earthly life on February 22nd 2023. Carlos loved
everything outdoors, thrived in Boy Scouts and became an Eagle Scout. After
graduating from Fairhope High School in 1987, he served in the Army National
Guard and attended Auburn University at Montgomery.
Carlos worked in a variety of different industries throughout his career. At the
time of his death, he was warehouse leadman at Ischebeck Titan.
Carlos was preceded in death by his father George A. Blackwell, Jr, stepfather
John A. Singleton and nephew Elijah John Griffin.
He leaves to cherish his memories; a loving and devoted mother, Jean Yelding
Singleton; stepmother, Emma Blackwell; godson, Hasan Franklin; siblings,
Tempie (Michael) Griffin, SFC Philip (Abby) Blackwell, SFC Alicia Blackwell, SFC
Jessica Carey, Keiland Jackson, Houston Dixon, Desi Watkins and Deseree
Watkins; two uncles, Donald (Theresa) Yelding, Alvin Yelding, four aunts;
Maxine (James) Wilson, Claire (Aubury) Fuller, Gwendolyn (Ronnie) Anderson,
and Alfreda Greene. Close friends, Kevin McQuittery, Tyson Lee, Glenn Bettner
and Dave Turbeville. Devoted cousins, Adrian Yelding and Alfred Allen. One
sister in love Dawn Prouty, beloved nieces, nephews and a plethora of other
dear relatives and friends.
