Carolyn L Logan was born on August 10, 1952 to the union of Rena Malone and Fred Essex. She departed this life on January 23, 2019.
She was a graduate from Murphy High School. Carolyn worked as a painter at Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, MS, after twenty-eight years of service she retired.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Rena Malone and Fred Essex; one sister; and three brothers.
She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Diana L Kennedy; her son, Jonathan Brooks (Tay) Brooks; nine grandchildren: Terrell Kennedy, III, Tamarra Kennedy, Temell Kennedy, Jonathan, Jordan, King, Jaleal, Jakyla, Jonae and Dasha; one sister, Debra Malone; five brothers: Elroy (Cynthia) Malone, Wade (Carolyn) Malone, Oscar Essex, Bobby Malone and Norman Malone; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; Honorable mention to her very devoted nieces: Tammy and Cheree Essex; devoted family friend, Terrell Kennedy, Jr.; and her neighbors who always watched over her.
