Obituary for Catina Danielle Taylor

Catina Danielle Taylor, a Mobile AL resident, was born on January 6, 1977 to Albert Bernard Rodgers and the late Cynthia Taylor, transitioned from this earthy life to eternal life on June 10, 2022. She was baptized and accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age.

She was a talented artist with a love of narrative prose and poetry. She loved being a mother and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her mother Cynthia Taylor; grandparents, C.B. (Earl Lee) Taylor; great-grandmother, Ethel B Poellnitz; brother Victor Rodgers and cousin, Z’Jahmal Kidd.

Catina leaves to cherish her memory: father, Albert Bernard Rodgers, step-mother, Rose Rodgers; son, Trenier L'Brian Burton; grandson, Nolan Burton; sisters: Catrina (Matthew) Hirschauer of Hebron, Kentucky, Tristan Taylor of Mobile Alabama; brother, David Matthews of Houston, Texas; aunts, Joann Taylor of Houston Texas, Janice Taylor of Orlando, Florida, Cheryl Taylor of Mobile, Alabama; uncles: Larry (Maggie) Taylor, Ellis Taylor both of Mobile, Alabama, Ralph Taylor of Houston; nephews: Jordan, Jaylen, Tavion, Josef, David Jr.; nieces: Taylor, Deja, Janiya, Joss; great-niece Jayleigh Todd; devoted friends Jerry Sampson and Lakeisha Hill; and a host of family and friends.
