Obituary for Cheryl Louise Days

Cheryl Louise Days was born in Mobile, AL on August 31, 1950 to the union of the late Milton and Edna Mae Days, Sr. She peacefully departed this life on Sunday, December 15, 2019 in Overland Park, KS. She was a 1968 graduate of Mobile County Training School. Cheryl, a former employee of South Central Bell and AT&T Telephone Company, Gulf Coast Safety Products, Inc., AmSouth Bank and Xerox Corporation, retired from Sunoco Logistics Oil and Gas in 2018. Cheryl loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was committed to her faith. She deeply loved her family and friends. She genuinely cared about people and readily helped anyone in need. Cheryl, affectionately known as “Cherry”, was known for her stylish and meticulous dress. She leaves to cherish her precious memory a very devoted son and daughter-inlaw, Derron and Zina Moultrie, two grandsons Jordan and Jerron Moultrie, all of Overland Park, KS.; an uncle, Reverend Arthur Days; one brother Milton (Betty) Days, Jr., one sister Linda (Norman) Hill, Sr., Mobile, AL., Four nieces: Bettina (Gary) Wright, Alabaster, AL., Michele Days, Helena, AL., Shantel Spencer, Chenele (Rashad) Chapman, Mobile, AL., and one nephew Norman (“Donnie”) Hill, Jr., Hayward, CA. She is also survived by three great nieces; Sydney Days, Madison Wright and McKenzie Davis, three great nephews; Emmanuel Chapman, Matthew Chapman and Kenneth Davis; Cousins Lillian Cheers and Michelle Cheers of Cincinnati, OH; devoted friends; Mrs. Irma Taylor, Dr. Jacquelyn Sampson, Mrs. Lillian Butler, Mrs. Patricia Gomez, and many other relatives, co-workers and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, December 21, 2019, at Little Flower Catholic Church at 11:00 am. Internment will immediately follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens, Theodore, AL.
