Clayton Cowan Jr. of Mobile, AL born June 14,1949 transitioned into the arms of his Savior on April 24, 2020. Clayton was a 1967 graduate of Mattie T. Blount High, and was employed by Akzo Chemical Company for 32 years. Clayton was preceded in death by his parents Clayton Cowan Sr, & Valeria Cowan;Two sisters Daisy Windham and Sharon Dortch; One brother, Michael Cowan. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and Devoted wife Alice Cowan; Devoted son Clayton (La Chunda) Cowan, III; Two brothers; Calvin(Sandra) Cowan, Larry Cowan; Three Sisters Vivian (Dandy) Williams, Diane (Aaron) Carroll and Gwendolyn (Freddie) Towner; Two Devoted Grandchildren, RaShun (Brandi) Cowan, Cameron Cowan, One Great Grandchild, Lyniyah Cowan. Mr. Clayton Cowan, Jr. will lie in state on Friday, May 1, 2020 from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Small's Mortuary, Mobile. A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2020 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Irene J. Small Family Center, 950 S. Broad Street, Mobile, AL 36603. Funeral services will be private.
