Daisy Ruth Jordan Woods, a resident of Mobile, Alabama was born February 9, 1964. She departed this life on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Saad Health Care. Daisy was the eleventh child of twelve children. She was a graduate of C.F. Vigor High School Class of 1984. Daisy accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and joined Bethesda Christian Center under the leadership of Senior Pastor/ Teacher Roger and Lady Yvonne Stanton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Author and Tencie Lee Jordan; brothers: Author Jordan, Jr. and Larry James Jordan. Daisy leaves to cherish her memory a loving and devoted husband, Melvin Woods; four sons: Akelia Tyrone Jordan, Brandon Martell Jordan, Derrick Demarcus Jordan and Kelvin Eric Jordan; one grandson, Brandon Martell Jordan, Jr.; four brothers: Sammie Lee Jordan, Bennie Carl Jordan, Vernon Jordan of Antioch, CA and Curtis Tyrone Jordan of Birmingham, AL; five sisters: Ruby Pearl Jordan, Ivon Robinson, Daphane Delois (Sam) Jordan, Verna Jean Jordan and Jennifer Denise (Judge) Mixon of Mobile, AL; a host of stepchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends; devoted godsister, Chanda Durgin Hosey; devoted stepdaughter, Denise Woods; devoted best friend, Alice Cooper.
