Daniel Earl McCarty, a native of Mobile, Alabama was born June 25, 1955. He departed this earthly life on Saturday, February 27, 2021.
He attended Mattie T. Blount High School and was member of the Class of 1973. He was a Veteran of the United Stated Army, where he served three years. He served three years as a Prichard Police Officer. He also worked at Hickory House as a Childcare Specialist.
Daniel spent his life doing professional paint and body repairing at one point owning his own paint and body shop, working also for Affordable Paint and body. He was also a class A welder.
Daniel was a dedicated and loving husband, father and family man. He was a God fearing man who definitely loved the Lord and lived, believed in and exhibited family unity. He also as always loved animals and even treated his pets like they were his other children. He enjoyed riding his motorcycles and received great pleasure in serving and attending his church New Christian Springs
Daniel leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife, Lytongela McCarty; loving daughters: Anna Thomas, Puchetta Jenkins and Dr. Dionne Jackson; devoted sons: Daniel K. McCarty and Lorenzo Jenkins; step-children: Zanita, Rayford and Dewayne; siblings: Brenda Douglas, Jonas McCarty and Thomas McCarty; a host of grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends and extended family.
