Obituary for Deacon Bush

Dea. Preston Bush -- a native of Rockville, AL and a resident of Mobile, born March 12, 1912 to the late Rev. Ross and Emily Bush Sr. He confessed Christ at early age and joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church #1, Rockville, AL. He was a faithful member of Abyssian Baptist Church, until his death . He was a retiree of International Paper Company, after thirty years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. O. C. Bush, daughter, Ozella Smith, grandson, Minister Alphonso Slater and great- grand daughter, Chantye Dale. five sisters, three brothers. He leaves to cherish his memories four daughters, Helen Bush, Douglasville, GA., Evelyn Abrams, Whistler, Ann Carolyn Harrison, Emily Daniels, son, Preston Daniels, all of Mobile, ten grands, one truly devoted Courtney Abrams, fifteen great- grands, and seven great great-grands,one devoted Rekim Abrams; a host of other relatives and friends. Special thanks to all the care providers of Odyssey Health Care, Dr. E. Jackson and staff at Diagnostic Medical, Nurse Rhonda, Bud and Marie Abrams, Patsy Anderson, Mildred L. Williamson. His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Friday, April 6, 2007 from 1-8pm and Saturday, April 7, 2007 after 10am until the 11am funeral hour Mt. Olive Baptist Church #1, Rockville, AL., Interment Mt. Olive #1 Cemetery, Dignified and professional services are entrusted to SMALL'S MORTUARY, 950 S. Broad St, Mobile, AL
