Obituary for Derik Lowayne Anderson

Derik Lowayne Anderson a lifelong resident of Mobile, AL was born to the proud parents, Eunice and Dorothy Anderson on January 8, 1964. He departed this life at his home on Wednesday, September 11, 2019. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Carvers Homes. He was a proud graduate of the Class of 1982 of W.P. Davidson High School. Derik retired from Mobile Area Water & Sewer System in May. He was preceded in death by his father, Eunice Anderson; nephew, Travis and sister, Carolyn Anderson. Derik leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of thirty-four years, Denise Anderson; children: Faviun Anderson and Dernisihia (Kenneth) Anderson-Smoot; grandson, Jayden Anderson; granddog, Titan P. Smoot; mother, Dorothy Anderson; brothers: Eunice (Dorothy) Kimbrough, Roderick (Linda) Anderson and Michael Anderson; sisters: Linda Bodie and Cheryl (Lebarron) Plenty; brother-in-law, Calvin (Regina) Rencher, III; sisters-in-law: Gloria Cheese, Juanita Mixon, Laura (LeVaughn) Jenkins, Jacqueline (Tony) Chambers, Carla (Marcus) Morrisette and Annette Rencher; devoted cousins: Janice Parker and Pamela Williams; devoted nephew, Kushon Anderson; goddaughter, Kerry-Ann Gordon; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
