Dozier Young, Sr., a native of Boykin, Alabama and a resident of Mobile, Alabama, born December 24, 1931, departed on Sunday, September 30, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents Nellie Irby Young and Johnny Young, two brothers J D Young and Joe Young, son Larry Colston. He leaves to cherish his memories daughter Diane Pettway of Detriot, MI, four children by union of Leanna Young-Coaxum: Dozier L. Young, Jr., Martinsburg, WV, Leola (Herman) Dozier, Columbia, SC, Rosita Austin, Crestview, FL, Johnny (Rosalind) Young, Seattle, WA. Daughter Ethel (Andrew) Koins, Mobile, AL, two sons Steve (Tena) Colston, Wilmer, AL and Joshua Colston, Mobile, AL, Sadie M. Colston of Mobile, AL and Carl Young, Boykin, AL, 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Special thanks to Faith Living Transition of Mobile, AL
