Obituary for Early Frank White Sr.

Deacon Early White, affectionately known to most as “Daddy”, was a long-life resident of
Mobile, Al. He was born to the late Ms. Cassie B. White. He was the last surviving of all his siblings, his five brothers; Jimmie (Velma) White, Charles (Oletha) White Sr., Marvin White, and Willie C. (Mary) White, and Arthur L. White, three sisters; Dora Mae Anderson, Mary Ann White and Georgia B. White-Pine.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories; A loving ,devoted, and faithful wife of sixty-one years; Mother Mildred Pearl White. He leaves to cherish his legacy of strength, diligence, and faithfulness to his children; Andretta M. White Coleman, Debra A. White, Early F. (Mary) White Jr., Francine (Albert) Richardson, Reginald (Jessica) White, Gregory (Tara) White and Darryl (Wanda) Belt. He leaves fifteen grandchildren; Jacqueline White, Kimberly White, Germaine White Sr., Eric White, Ashleigh White, Joshua Richardson, Jenaun Davis, Jermonique White, Ja-maya White, Reginald White Jr., Jordan Blair-White, Roman White, Amaris T. Belt, Arian Belt, and Aaron Belt; Nine Great-grandchildren; Sharmichael Kennedy, Quamichael Kennedy, Timothy Jenkins Jr. Zoey Oakley, Khloe Oakley, Anthony White Jr., Ashlynn Gholston, Destiny Brisker, and Micah White; two devoted In-Laws, Gladys Kennedy and Grady Burroughs, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Daddy’s legacy is that of faithfulness. He exemplified as much in his walk with the Lord. Upon accepting Jesus as his Lord and Savior, he brought his faithfulness to the house of God. He became a member of The Greater Showers of Blessings COGIC after the fervent prayers of his dear wife. He held prominent positions in his local church. He served as President of the Adult Usher Board. He stood guard on the door, until it seemed as if he was the door, unless it was football season!
He served as a Head Financier with the church finance committee. Albeit, no matter how busy his was, he always kept a watchful eye on his beloved wife. Her welfare was always his top priority.
His children would say, Daddy only had to “snap his fingers to get you in line and you knew to get things done”. He lovingly ruled his house, earning the respect of his children and all those who knew him.
His love for his family, diligence, and dedication can best be shown in his faithfulness on his job at Ingall’s Shipbuilding. He perfected his craft and earned the title “Perfect Painter” until his retirement after servicing 35 years.
“Daddy”, was a God fearing man whose smile would brighten your heart.
He will indeed be missed.
