Obituary for Eddie Lee White
Eddie Lee White, a native of Mobile, Alabama born September 18, 1951 to the union of Emma and James White Sr.
Eddie departed into eternal life with our Lord, Jesus Christ Monday, December 5, 2022. He confessed Christ at an early age where he attended Phillips Temple AOH Church of God with his mother and siblings.
Eddie attended Caldwell Elementary, Dunbar Jr. High and Central High school class of 1969. He was a member of the Central High school marching band, where he played the trumpet. Eddie worked for Buckhandnon Lumber Company and retired after more than 20 years of service.
Eddie was a faithful member of Miracle Deliverance Church of God where he served as a deacon and assisted in many duties or where ever he could give a helping hand. He was faithful to the call, he would also oversee the grounds of the church where he made sure the grass was cut. Eddie enjoyed attending the Gospel Extravaganza and musicals. This was a huge part of his life and he traveled wherever there was a performance.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents Emma and James White,Sr., his sister, Leona White Boyd, brother George White.
He leaves to cherish his memories his children: son Michael B. White of Atlanta, Georgia; Ricky Jones, Atlanta, Georgia; Joetta Triplett, Mobile, AL; Erick Lee Jones, Mobile, AL; grandchildren: Jasmine, Christopher, Ryan, Chase, Cynthia, Therios, Darmeka, Darrell ; 14 great grands; brothers: James (Yolanda) White, Jr New Jersey; Ernest White, Pascagoula, Miss; nieces: Cynthia (Harold) Neckles, Mobile, AL; Santa White, Mobile, AL; Coretta (Ahmad) Jefferson, Mobile, AL; Brenda (Latif) Anderson; Michele (Harry) Robinson both of NewYork; Belinda Napolean Birmingham, AL; nephews: Terry( Angela) Curreley, Mobile, Al ; Michael White; Labaron (Barbara) White, New York; Leon ( Dawn )White both of New York. A host of great and great great nieces and nephews; cousins Pastor Charlie (Mary) White, Bessie Lucus both Mt. Vernon, AL; Friends Peggy Long, Richard Chaney and Joseph Williams; and a host of of other relatives and friends.
