Elizabeth Mauldin-Jackson “Liz” was born November 25, 1941 in Mobile Alabama to Charlie and Georgia Mauldin. She departed this life on Friday August 16, 2019 to her heavenly home.
Elizabeth confessed her belief in Jesus, gave her life to Christ and became a member of New Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Jackson Sr.; parents, Charlie and Georgia Mauldin; five sisters: Johnnie M. Mauldin, Leila M. Smith, Mattie Primm, Charlie M. Wyatt, Annie M. Brown; four brothers: Robert Mauldin, Chrosin Mauldin, Jimmie Mauldin, and Edward Mauldin.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories; two devoted children: daughter, Tina Jackson and son, Billy (Sayinka) Jackson Jr; five grandchildren, one loving and devoted granddaughter, Brittany Jackson, Destiny Lankster, Justice Jackson, Bryson Tipton, Laila Tipton; two great grandchildren, Paislei Carson and Calli Eldridge; one devoted sister Rosie M. Locke; four sisters-in-law, Yvonne Mauldin, Shirley Mauldin, Annie P. Odom, and Ollie Jackson; two brothers-in-law, Zeke Jackson, Karriem Shabazz; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
