Obituary for Emanuel Bowden
Mr. Emanuel Bowden was born November 25, 1938 to Henry and Eva Bowden, both of Mobile, Alabama.
He was a graduate of Mobile County Public School System and a member of the Friendship Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Robert J. Emanuel, Jr.
Mr. Bowden was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles Nettles; and two sisters, Loretta Bowden and Katherine Griffin.
He departed this life on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. He leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted daughter, LaFrancis Gaston; three sons, Emanuel (Carolyn) Bowden, Jr., Steve (Sandra) Bowden, both of New Orleans, Louisiana, Perry Nelson of California; a devoted sister, Patricia Cook of Enterprise, AL; one devoted nephew, Glenn Cook of Enterprise, Alabama; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
