Estelle Bolar Carmicheal, of Knightdale, North Carolina, was born on June 19, 1940 in Daphne, Alabama to the late Beatrice (Watkins) Bolar and Atlas Bolar. She departed this life on November 3, 2022.
Estelle graduated from Baldwin County Training School and started her adult career at Villa Mercy Nursing Facility serving the elderly and her community throughout her working life in Baldwin County, Alabama.
She is survived by her son, Henry (Brenda) Carmichael, Knightdale, NC; grandsons, Jonathan L. (Taherra) Young, Wake Forest, NC; Paul (Becky) Carmichael, Ayden, NC; Aaron Carmichael, Greenville, NC; Tyrone Carmichael, Montevallo, AL (son of the late Luverne Carmichael, Jr.),ยท brother, James (Geraldine) Bolar, Akron, OH; sisters, Dorothy Allen, Fairhope, AL; Iola Herrion, and Vashti Johnson, both of Daphne, AL; Gloria Christine Wells, Atlanta, GA; a plethora of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
