Etola Bryant Mauldin was born on December 20, 1927 in Mobile, Alabama. She passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 in Mobile, Alabama. Etola worked at the University of South Alabama Hospital for over twenty years. She was a devoted member of Stone Street Baptist Church for over sixty years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Percy Mauldin, Sr.; three daughters: Ermanell Heningburg, Patricia Thomas and Pearl Mauldin; and son, Percy Mauldin, Jr. Etola leaves to cherish her memories, two loving granddaughters: LaTonya McCants and Dawn Thomas; two grandsons: Raymond (Vallarie) Heningburg, Jr. and Trent Thomas; a host of great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren, a devoted greatgranddaughter, Olivia Thomas and great-grandson-in-law, Terrance Ransefore, Sr.; a host of cousins, family and friends whose lives she touched.
