Mr. Manuel, Sonny and I were saddened to learn of Mrs. Manuel's passing. She was so beautiful, inside and out, and was always kind and thoughtful to everyone. She was the epitome of a true "southern lady." Prayers for God's strength and comfort for you and your extended family during this time of sadness.

Marlon T. Perkins, Sr.

To the beloved and bereaved of Mrs. Eunice Manuel (Reid),

Pastor and Mrs. Marlon T. Perkins, Sr., and the pastoral staff and members of Living Waters Worship Center of Seventh-day Adventists in Dallas, TX, extend to you our deepest sympathy. We know that Sis. Manuel-Reid will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends, and her tragic passing leaves a void in the hearts of many. Sis. Manuel-Reid's sister Til is the wife of Elder Milton Pettis, Jr., one of the beloved members of our church fellowship. To Sis. Manuel-Reid's husband, John, her beloved sister Til, and the entire Manuel and Reid families we say, “Your sorrow is our sorrow.”

The Bible declares that death will be the last enemy of God and man to be destroyed (I Corinthians 15:26). We have the assurance that when Jesus comes, He will “wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away” (Revelation 21:4). We join you in looking forward to that blessed day! Until then, may the grace of God through the sweet communion of His Holy Spirit be your healing balm.

Sincerely in Christ,
Marlon T. Perkins, Sr.
