Obituary for Eva Pearl "Little Sister" Grace

A Legendary Life Legacy

Eva Pearl Grace departed this life March 23,2020. She was born August 28,1944, in Farmersville, Alabama to Rufus and Lilian Rigsby Hale.
Eva graduated from Douglasville High school at the age of fifteen. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Special Education and Library of Science from Fort Valley State University of South Alabama. She also received an Associates in Arts from Alabama State University in 1980. She served as a teacher in Special Education for over 20 years.

Eva was a faithful member and Sunday School teacher at Trinity Chapel A.M.E. Church. She loved her church and was actively involve until her health failed. She had a passion for life. She loved interacting with people and volunteering, and her family was her main priority. Her favorite hobbies was fishing and traveling.

She was precede in death by her husband Gordon Grace, her parents Rufus and Lillian Hale, (2) brothers Artis Hale and Junior Morris.

She is survived by her (3) daughters Evita Smith, Cynthia (Ernest) Hooks, LaTegra Grace all of Bay Minette, Al. (2) sisters Betty Jean Henderson of Bay Minette, AL and Emma (Jerry) McReynolds of Montgomery, AL. (9) grandchildren (7) great-grandchildren (1) step granddaughter (4) step great-grandchildren. Ten sisters-in-law (1) brother-in-law along with a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives, Trinity Chapel Family, (1) close Friend Reverend Dale and friends.
