Rev. Fleet Lavalda Belle, the last child born, to the late William Wilson Belle, Sr. and Aretha Austin Belle on July 16, 1950, made his triumph transition from this life to his eternal resting place on Saturday, July 11, 2020. Assuredly, the angels rejoiced at his arrival. He confessed his life at an early age at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church #1 where Rev. A. J. Stokes was his pastor. Pastor Belle was going into his 39th year as the founding pastor of Rock of Faith Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Andrea Belle and Betty Belle White. He leaves to cherish his memories of 39 years, a loving and devoted wife, Carolyn Dortch Belle, one son, Dylan (Tiffany) Douglas, four daughters 2 devoted, Faith Belle-Lucy (Domonic) and Hope Belle-Payne (Derick); Joy Nobles (Leslie), and Charity Belle. Two brothers, one sister, twelve grandchildren 3 devoted, Jael (Aaron) Gordon, Christian Belle, and Domonique Lucy three great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
